AB&I volunteers help clean-up San Antonio Park

On September 8, AB&I team members Michael Lowe and Zeydi Gutierrez joined District 2 Council member Abel Guillen for a clean-up at San Antonio Park. The trade unions (including painters, electrical, etc.), residents and volunteers worked hard to clean up debris, paint and repair playground equipment, install benches, fill potholes, repair the running track and add mulch around the trees.

They met some wonderful people from the neighborhood and were pleased to see that young children were helping with the clean-up.

After the clean-up Councilmember Guillen posted, “Together, we MADE a real difference! Thank you #OakD2 neighbors, building trades & friends for fixing our beloved San Antonio Park! Thanks to you, our kids & community will have a safer, cleaner, better lit park for all of us! This Day of Action is another great example of how the community, unions and City staff can come together to make something great happen!”
