Kennedy Valve Hydrant Spotted at Old Faithful

Manchester Tank & Equipment Company CEO Larry Whitehead recently spotted a Kennedy Valve hydrant near the Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone National Park.  Old Faithful was named in 1870 during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition and was the first geyser in the park to receive a name.

As it turns out, Old Faithful and Kennedy Valve hydrants have a lot in common – they’re predictable and reliable.  Old Faithful erupts almost every 63 minutes and Kennedy Valve hydrants are ready to go to work when you need them - kicking flames and taking names!
