Protecting the Environment for Generations To Come
The McWane family of companies takes our commitment to the environment seriously, and recycling serves as a core business policy. At McWane, our approach to environment and safety issues starts from a clear vision from our corporate leaders supported by strong policies, placing recycling at the core of the business, utilizing internationally recognized environmental, health and safety management systems, and through a substantial investment in environmental technologies and modern infrastructure. McWane is addressing many of the unique safety and environmental challenges faced by the foundry industry with a comprehensive environmental, health and safety management system. These systems are based, in part, on the International Organization for Standards (ISO) 14000 group of environmental standards. ISO 14000 standards are internationally recognized as an accepted framework for environmental management, measurement, evaluation and auditing. Meeting these standards allows us to provide communities with a foundation for life with clean, safe, dependable drinking water. All McWane facilities have implemented sustainable environmental practices that will in many instances exceed U.S. standards that are unsurpassed in the industries where we operate.
