Union Foundry Team Helps Camp Lee
Aug 13, 2009

On August 7, 2009, a team from Union Foundry took off their hard hats and put on their tool belts in order help the United Way for a Day of Caring at Camp Lee located near Anniston, Alabama.  The original campsite at Camp Lee was purchased in 1930 by the Boy Scouts of America.  They had many happy times at the camp until 1965, when they relocated to DeKalb County.  In 1966, the First United Methodist Church purchased the camp and has been maintaining it since that time.

Over the years, they have added cabins, a pool, additional lodges and roads.  Now, thanks to the team from Union Foundry, they have new landscaping and a new bridge.
