Union Foundry received a call at about 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, stating that the northern half of Anniston was without water.  Unfortunately, an old cast iron pipe had failed and the city did not have repair material that fit the old line's dimensions. 

The Team at Union was not intimidated by the request at all.  In fact, in less than an hour, the Union Team was able to locate and machine two fittings so that the line could be repaired and water service restored to Anniston. 

Fortunately, for the residents of Anniston, Union Foundry was there to help out.
