Robert (Bob) Shepherd, a machine operator at the Clow Valve Machine Shop, was recently appointed to the Voluntary Protection Program Participants Association (VPPPA) Region VII Board of Directors as a Labor Representative for a site with a Collective Bargaining Agreement.  The VPPPA Region VII covers Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.  Bob also has the honor of being the first hourly team member from McWane who has been appointed to a VPPPA Board.  He also serves on the Joint Safety Committee and is the co-chair of the Machine Shop VPP Committee. 

Bob joins Rod Swager, Safety Manager at Clow Valve, on the Board.  Rod also serves as the Board's Nominating Committee Chairperson.
