Team Helps Ala Baptist Childrens Home
May 12, 2010

The McWane Team at Union Foundry lent a hand to help out those in need on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the Alabama Baptist Children's Home (ABCH) located in Oxford, Alabama.  The ABCH provides nurturing homes for children in need and a place to live for homeless mothers with children.  They also offer professional counseling, resources and seminars on family issues.

The McWane Team worked at the Friendship House and the Family Care House sprucing the place up by doing landscaping, painting and general clean up.  They also assisted in organizing items at Jehovah's Closet which accepts much needed donations of food, clothing, toys, etc. from the local community for residents at the Children's Home.  They wanted to organize the store in a way that families in need would feel like they were shopping at a "real" store.

McWane has a history of contributing to the communities in which our Team members live and work.  We take great pride in the fact that the Team is continuing this tradition.  The ABCH is needed more now than ever in these tough economic times.
