Amerex Corporation and McWane, Inc. hosted the Executive Women International Firm Night on May 20, 2008. There were 130 people in attendance. Bill Beyer, the President of Amerex and Charlie Nowlin, the Chief Financial Officer for McWane, Inc. gave an interesting, informative and sometimes humerous history of both Amerex and McWane.

Attendees were then given a demonstration of how to actually put out a fire using a fire extinguisher. Following dinner, presentations and the fire fighting demonstration, attendees were given an incredible tour of the manufacturing facility.

In conclusion to a wonderful event, everyone was presented with a complimentary fire extinguisher prior to leaving.
