Clow Water Conducts Safety Training Jul 22, 2008 Clow Water Systems recently conducted a 32-hour confined space rescue team training course. Training programs included: rope rescue, confined space entry, confined space rescue, structural rescue, team building and multiple rescue scenarios. Currently, Clow Water has twenty-eight volunteers certified as confined space team members and/or supervisors to cover all three shifts. Our confined space rescue training program meets or exceeds NFPA 1670 standards and OSHA training requirements for 1910.146 and other related rescue requirements. Safety Supervisors Brian Daugherty and Frank Kline are confined space rescue instructors that possess not only experience in technical rescue, but also have the instructional methodology to be able to transfer the course material, knowledge and skill objectives to the students. Each instructor went through extensive rescue training requirements prior to becoming an instructor.
