C. Phillip McWane is the chairman of McWane, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. McWane joined the company in 1980 and has held a number of management positions including executive vice president and president. He has served on the board of McWane, Inc. since 1986.

Mr. McWane currently serves on the Board of Directors of First American Bank, Alabama National Bancorporation and McWane, Inc.

He is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham, and serves on the Boards of Sloss Furnaces Foundation, The McWane Science Center Endowment Committee and The Children's Hospital of Alabama.

Mr. McWane graduated in 1980 from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama with a degree in Business and Industrial Management. He lives with his family in Birmingham.
