Kennedy Valve leads the way as presenting sponsor of Tour de Keuka charity bike ride

For the third year, Kennedy Valve was the presenting sponsor of the United Way of the Southern Tier’s annual Tour de Keuka charity bike ride.

The event raised more than $130,000 for programs supporting children, senior citizens and people in need in Chemung and Steuben counties. More than 275 cyclists from 17 states took part in event with options of cycling 45, 60 or 100 miles.

“Tour de Keuka is an incredible display of community in motion,” said United Way of the Southern Tier President Maleaha Smith. “Every dollar raised helps us invest in brighter futures for local kids, greater independence for seniors, and critical support for those struggling to get by.”

Kennedy Valve participants included team members, Nate Pizzini, Dave Adams, Mason Stachowski, Mike Gleason and Bill Beschler, and their family members, Loris Pizzini and Cameron Adams.
