Huntsville, Alabama, November 14, 2013 – Synapse Wireless will be attending the HIMSS14 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida on February 23-27, 2014 and showcasing its Nurse Rounding solution in the Step Down Unit at the Intelligent Health Pavilion.

Using SNAP-based RTLS technology, the Nurse Rounding Use Case will highlight how Synapse can monitor patient rooms for rounding events, display results on a real-time alerting board, and automatically collect trustable data for detailed analytics to drive improved patient care and clinical execution.  The cloud-based software dashboard also includes real-time display of rounding activity and reporting functions to summarize metrics including time spent in the patient room by rounding event.

The organization managing the show, HIMSS, is a global, cause-based, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT). HIMSS leads efforts to optimize health engagements and care outcomes using information technology.  This year’s Intelligent Health Pavilion is designed to help showcase the continuing evolution, development and proliferation of technologies for the full continuum of healthcare from the hospital to the home.  Their goal is to help raise the level of awareness of technologies that make healthcare more efficient, effective and comprehensive via wireless information delivery as well as medical devices, wireless sensors applications and Auto-ID RFID/RTLS platforms.  The integrated technology and solutions displayed and demonstrated at the pavilion are designed not only to improve patient care in the hospital but to assure the wellness of that patient even after he or she goes home.  To learn more about HIMSS14 Annual Conference & Exhibition visit
