Franklin, TN – December 18th, 2020 - This week Manchester Tank announced a price increase on its line of aluminum forklift cylinders. Prices will increase 10%, effective with all new orders shipping on or after January 15th, 2021, or as contracts allow.
“Manchester Tank has experienced a significant increase in recent months in its aluminum pricing and conversion costs from its major suppliers. We have also experienced continued increases in operating expenses associated with servicing our customers at a high level during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Brendan Dillmann, Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Manchester Tank. “We have worked hard to absorb as many of these increases as possible, but we have reached a point where we must adjust prices to cover these incremental costs. We will continue to monitor the markets closely and adjust prices as needed as we get further clarity into the cost and availability of raw materials.”
